Product Description
The wafer-type signal butterfly valve is an intelligent fire protection valve that integrates flow control, status monitoring and remote alarm. It is not only the switch of the pipeline, but also the "sentinel" of the reliability of the fire protection system. The valve body itself does not have a flange. A long bolt is passed through the bolt holes on the valve body to "clamp" it between the two pipe flanges. A precise electromechanical device (usually a microswitch) is connected to the valve stem or handle through a mechanical linkage mechanism.
• When the valve is fully open, the signal module outputs a "normal" signal (usually for closing or opening the circuit) to the fire control center.
• Once the valve is turned from the fully open position (usually by more than a certain Angle, such as 10°), the signal module will be immediately triggered to send a "supervisory alarm" or "fault signal" to the fire control center.
