Product Description
UL fire sprinkler heads sense the ambient temperature through thermal sensitive elements. When the preset operating temperature is reached, they automatically break or melt, thereby releasing the water flow. The water flow is evenly and effectively distributed to the surface of the burning object by the deflector. The entire process is purely mechanical and automated, requiring no external power supply or manual intervention.
The fire sprinklers are activated one by one. Only the nozzles (or those few) that have reached their rated temperature will operate. This avoids unnecessary water stain loss and insufficient water source pressure caused by all nozzles spraying water simultaneously. The nozzle is only sensitive to heat and has no response to smoke. It won't start just because someone smokes.
